In addition to providing support for research conducted by Havemeyer Primary Investigators, hosting research workshops and conferences, the Havemeyer Foundation has also been instrumental in the mapping of the equine genome and the support of ongoing research to further develop its application. Additionally each year the Foundation provides support for a diverse group of Havemeyer Summer Fellows who assist our Primary Investigators in their research areas. Summer Fellows receive a stipend from the Foundation and gain valuable experience in both conducting research and in presenting their findings at workshops and conferences hosted by the Havemeyer Foundation.
As the Havemeyer Foundation moves further into the 21st century we are excited to support new areas of research and to continue to host workshops and conferences which provide the world’s best scientists the opportunity to present, discuss and collaborate with their fellow researchers.
